MEDITATION

Meditation Coaching / Classes – Take control of your life!

Meditation is a personal journey that looks different for everyone. What brings tranquility to one person might not work at all for another, and that’s the beauty of it! Each of us has unique life experiences, challenges, and strengths, which means we each bring something different to the meditation mat (or couch, or park bench!). We all start at different places, and our goals can vary too—whether it’s a calmer mind, inner clarity, or simply a break from the day’s hustle. We might all agree on one thing, though: meditation is often about finding that oasis in our minds, a little escape from daily stresses and thoughts. Ideally, we come away refreshed, a bit renewed. But the real question is, how can we take that peaceful feeling beyond those few quiet minutes? Can we carry it with us, let it seep into our day-to-day, and maybe even share it with those around us?

Now, when we think of meditation, a classic image comes to mind—maybe a serene yogi sitting cross-legged, fingers in mudra, chanting “Om.” And hey, if that’s your style and it works, more power to you! For some of us, though, the traditional poses feel, let’s say, less than comfortable, and that’s okay too. Meditation doesn’t have to look a certain way; it’s about finding what genuinely helps you reach that peaceful state. There’s definitely value in good posture, energy flow, and breathing techniques, which is why practices like yoga pair so well with meditation. The stretches, the breathwork, the focus—they all help us get into the zone. But when it comes down to it, there’s no right or wrong way to position yourself. Just find what feels good and helps you settle in.

Some people go all out, creating their own meditation space with candles, music, or even nature sounds and incense. Maybe it’s an entire room dedicated to peace, or maybe it’s just a cozy corner. The point is, it’s whatever works for you. There’s no checklist for meditation; it’s all in your mind. Whether you need a few deep breaths, soft background music, or simply a quiet space, your practice is as unique as you are. In the end, meditation is about tuning in to yourself, bringing that peace you find into the world outside, and maybe even passing a bit of it along. Scott Henning

“In solitude I find the best conversations. Listening to my soul’s dictations has lead me to greater truths that I could have missed if I didn’t rest and listen.” -Dodinsky

“Reading makes a full man, meditation a profound man, discourse a clear man.” Benjamin Franklin

“The affairs of the world will go on forever. Do not delay the practice of meditation.”

Clearing our minds through meditation can sometimes be a hard thing to do, or we feel we must meditate on something to benefit fully from our meditations. Here are some suggestions and situations to bring about peace of mind in your meditations.

Meditation is taking control of your thoughts by releasing your thoughts. Finding a space where the things that you know, you just know and the things that you need to do, you will do. There is a time and a place for everything. Meditation is about finding that time and place, knowing that it is right.

Take a minute right now, breathe deep and let it out slowly. One more time. Now, don’t you feel better? SMILE

Inner Peace begins with the next breath you take. We breathe until we die, take in all that is good and bad in the world and return it better than when you took it in. Look yourself making the air around you better, more positive, and peaceful. Find true peace and happiness with every breath and radiate what you find.

Inner Peace

Choose Happiness and Inner Peace

Happiness and inner peace are choices we can make, beginning with the very next breath you take. Breathing is the one constant in our lives, from the moment we are born until the day we leave this world. Each breath offers an opportunity to engage with life in a way that transforms not only ourselves but also the world around us.

As you inhale, imagine that you are drawing in all the energy from the world—both the good and the bad. With each exhale, visualize yourself transforming that energy, returning it to the world better than when you received it. Picture the air around you becoming more positive, more peaceful, more filled with light because of your intentional presence.

See each breath as a moment of creation, a chance to infuse the space around you with love, joy, and calm. With every inhale, you absorb life’s challenges and beauty, and with every exhale, you contribute something even more valuable—your peace, your happiness, your love. This simple yet profound practice not only nourishes your soul but also radiates outwards, touching the lives of others.

By consciously choosing happiness and peace with each breath, you cultivate a deep and abiding sense of well-being. This inner tranquility then flows from you, reaching those around you, and gradually transforming your environment. You become a beacon of peace, a source of positivity, affecting change simply through the act of mindful breathing.

With every breath, you have the power to create a ripple of peace and happiness in the world. So, breathe deeply, and with each breath, let yourself find and radiate the true peace and happiness that resides within you.

Let it be, there will be an answer, let it be…

Focus on a place right behind your forehead with you eyes open and let your eyes relax to a soft gaze. Let go, let the thoughts come, just say hi, and let the thoughts go.
