BALANCE

BALANCE

Having balance in our lives sounds like a great thing to shoot for and finding True Happiness is best accomplished by having several different things we are working on at the same time. Hopefully we can allot enough time to the things and people we value in our lives to grow healthy and fulfilling connections with them all. The things we do during our day can be guided by the things we are inspired to do.

Not neglecting things or people to a point where we become disconnected from them requires we find a balance of our time and how we spend it.  We must always remember the more time we spend on one thing the less we can spend on others. “Quality not quantity” is a good rule to incorporate into our lives to create balance. Being fully present in the moment and in the time we spend with them, builds a deeper connection with them. Knowing the things we can and need to do to have them the way we want makes this easier and we will find True Happiness even when we don’t have what we want because we have taken steps to have them.

Living a balanced life requires a need to account for the use of our time, not only to ourselves, but to others if we are neglecting spending time with them. We do only have so much time in a day and we cannot do too many things at once or we will not be fully present in the moment alienating others because we seem preoccupied. Spending quality time with people will make the relationship better or at the very least maintain our connection with them. We may not be able to restore our cars to a showroom state but we can spend a little quality time cleaning it or maintaining them, showing that we value them and find True Happiness in the fact that we have remained connected to them. Finding a balance between maintenance and growth in or toward having things or relationships we want in our lives requires time and can be hard at times, but is worth it in the long term.

The demands of outside influences can seem to dominate us at times and make us feel as though the scales are tipped too far to one side. When we feel like this things usually are out of balance. We can overcome this feeling with proper thought and action, knowing that the things we are doing is what we need to do right now and we need to give them the attention they deserve. Our lives can be brought into better balance when we are finished doing the things we need to do that are in line with the direction that we want. We just do what has to be done now and know the area we need to work on most will be what we will focus on as soon as we can. The things that we know are important to us and what needs to be done to create a deeper connection to them, provides balance in all areas of our lives when we take some kind of action to work on them.

Balance comes when we can find a way to be at peace with both good things and bad. We know that things don’t always work out ideally, yet we can find the ways we have benefited from the way they turned out. Living our lives with purpose and staying focused on what we are doing in this moment can create balance when we know all the different things we want  and what we need to do to have them. When we can fully devote our attention to one thing knowing that the other things will get our attention in their time our lives seem to just take place and we remain in a state of True Happiness because of it.

Just how much attention does one area deserve? This question can only be answered when we know the things that are important to us and how connected we are to them. When we feel we need to work on an area we probably do. Sometime things come up that we need to take care of right away or people or things start presenting themselves as needing attention and some cannot be put off any longer, this happens when we let things go too far and have not maintained balance in our life. Balance comes from maintaining connection with the things that are important to us.

Here’s an idea get your spouse, children or friend to help you clean out the car with you, this way you can work on connection with them at the same time. This kind of quality time does wonders for creating balance in our lives. Even better, exchange your time for theirs, then you will be helping them have something they want, as well as spending more time with them deepening your connection with them. Nothing is more rewarding than to help another person and deepen your connection with them in the process.

Balance only seems to be a problem when there is a problem. It is our feeling of not having control that brings up the problem of balance in our lives. We don’t look at balance as a problem when we are doing the things we need to be doing and things seem to be going alright. When we are doing the things we need to be doing and things seem out of control we are usually too quick to blame it on a lack of balance in our lives. Most of the time it is only one or two areas that need some attention to regain control of them and we will feel like we have restored the balance we feel we lack. Once we regain a little control over those areas and things start to balance out a little, we need to reevaluate the things that are important to us, the things we do and how we spend our time. When we do, we look for the things we can do to deepen our connections to the areas that brought about the unbalance. Correcting the actions that caused the out of control feelings will make us feel better. When we cannot correct them, we do what we can, to stay connected. Even when we don’t feel good about a situation we can remain connected to it, by being responsible, doing the things that we can do and doing the things we need to do.

Dealing with new things that come into our lives and new things we take on, is easier when we know why we have them in our lives in the first place. We need to understand that it is not the things that are going on that create unbalance. It is devoting too much time to one particular thing that can diminish our connection with other things. If we get a new car and just park the old one, it will fall into disrepair and create an imbalance between the two. The same goes for relationships, when we devote too much of our time to on one the others may suffer. Restoring balance is easier when we continue to value the things we have already, take care of them as they need to be cared for or get rid of them. This may sound cruel in the case of relationships but may be necessary if we don’t want to hurt them or be put into a position of imbalance that is only evident when it becomes a problem.

When we want to continue to have them in our lives a little maintenance can go a long way. We are only out of balance when we have too much going on and as a result something suffers. When we become aware of it, we have a choice to make, either devote more attention to what is suffering or block out the feelings that arise from having an imbalance, until we do something about it. Balance is not hard to achieve it just needs to be thought of in the right way to be realized.

Mother

We are born to our human form from our mothers into a world that of itself is cold and unforgiving. At the time of our birth we are the closest to the spirit we will ever be. Our mothers comfort and care for us as we learn how to be human and how we relate to this world. We become part our earthly existence and the environments that are of our mother. Mother Earth provides us many things that of themselves sustain life, The water we drink, the food we eat and the clothes we wear. The material things we use to make our lives easier and more comfortable are of this earth and we enjoy them and how they make us feel. Our desires are of the mother and are good when kept in check. Our feelings and emotions are are human and help determine our actions based on our experience the way they will make us feel or have made us feel in the past. Caring for the Mother deepens our relationship with her by giving back that which is abundantly given to us. It has been said,”We are born of love, love is our mother.” “ Behind every great man is a great woman.” and “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.” all show the power and respect we give or should give the Mother knowing as the butter lady said,” It’s not nice to fool with Mother Nature.”. Welcome to Be One With Me

We are so excited to share in your development and seeking to find or maintain balance in your life. The things that are put forth on our pages are meant are to help to continue to provide all our friends a way to grow together spiritually.

Being of Spirit and Human

Our spirit and more importantly our our connection with God and the energy that we come from, is what keeps our human side from getting out of control and wreaking havoc on our lives and the lives of those we relate with in this life. That’s not to say that being human and doing things that are good for our human life, body and environment is all bad. Quite the contrary. We are human and we are not immune to desires or desiring the things that make us feel good and want for the things that are beyond the things we need for our existence. Nor, are we wrong to pursue those things and do the things that would make feel good. When we are in touch with our spirit and living as or being of that spiritual energy, we are less likely to do things that will make us burn in hell. Read more about Hell Click Here.

Balance in the Masculine and Feminine

When we understand that we are both human and spirit coming from father and mother as children and we will always be the children of  the mother earth and the father of all. Being of both masculine and feminine we can find balance between the the two and use them to help us relate in the world and with others. We learn that God is of the masculine and the Earth the mother is of the feminine. Finding balance in being of both s not about being equal in each. Men and women are not equal as a whole and are quite different in so many ways. The balance is found by relating to and embracing the other sex by understanding and adopting traits that help us relate with each other and make us whole.

Direction in the Directions

In forming relationships within different areas of our life and our existence, we find all relationships, whether they be with other humans, our possessions, our needs or wants, start as new beginnings that come from some ending. There are times and things that bring about the unknown and we are faced with different desires that are all new to us. So how do we form balance and relationship between being spiritual, of the spirit, and human, of the Earth?

We have broken it down into different areas represented by different directions and of where we stand in the middle of those directions. The directions represent more than North, South, East and West. The directions represent the cycle of our days and of the years. When we look at our lives we find each cycle of our lives is represented in those directions as well. We take that further and say that it is the existence of all that has been or will be.

We look to the Sky or to God to find our Spirit, our place and part of everything and to make connection with other people and things. We can let go and have our heads truly in the clouds, be out there spiritually and soar in our connections in ways that can only be accomplished with our relationship with God.

We look to the Earth to find understanding and to stay grounded. Our feet are attached to the Earth and we are part of the mother, we cannot leave the Earth as we are now and are going to return to her upon the death of our bodies.

The East is representative of the Rising Sun, the new day and new beginnings. It is the beginning of our conscious thoughts, when our lives and other lives come into the world making new things come to light. Our connection with the direction of the East gives us a hopeful Outlook as we start to emerge like the flowers of the springtime.

The South is the direction that is of the Sun, the hot of the day, the place of our emotions and being. It is the most human of directions, it is where we are right now. It is a place that continues in light of the day, as the summer of Our Lives. Where we our passions and desires, our youth and vitality reside. We live here, truly live, and in the timeline of our lives we form who we are here.

The West the direction of the Setting Sun and being a day ending of our thoughts the direction of the past, the things that we have learned. It’s the place, space and time of reflection. Connection with this direction is like the fall where we reap the Harvest of the things that we are doing have done and continue to do. We look back on our day and days knowing that we are finding that our experiences are serving us well.

The North is the direction of the unknown, sleeping time, night and the winter of our lives. It is the direction that contains the knowledge of the previous time, the direction of our ancestors and those who have come before us. It is the most spiritual direction providing us with inspiration and comfort while we are here.

Bringing the directions together gives us Direction. When we look to how the different directions relate to and with each other, we can practice that relationship between them in our lives. When they come together and we use the knowledge we have of them, they make us whole.

When we can look to the new beginnings and the direction of the East, we can be excited about  new beginnings, because we have embraced the unknown and the direction of the North. We can put me behind the past and having learned from the past at the direction of the West. All those things come together as what is best for us right now in the South.

Bringing all directions together, Up, Down, North, South, East and West in our HEART CENTER, we find balance and connection to everyone and everything.

Without Good there is no bad. Recognize bad and find the good. Know the bad is really good.

LET GO

We should not try too hard to find the answers that guide us in harmony with all that is right and good. The things that are happening around us we are creating and are building on past actions. Acceptance of things as they are when we know they could be better is found with faith that following our intuition and feelings of the next right thing to do and by surrendering to this moment for what it is and being responsible for our feelings for what they are.

The more we use faith we find it becomes almost second nature and we begin to rely on its power. By releasing our thoughts and worries and letting things play out as they will, the practice of using faith becomes our way of acceptance that we have done right with right intention and released control of thing that are not in our control. It is at those times, when we don’t have control we feel we need that our faith is tested the most.
